Perth Wildcats Sign Exciting Forward Alex Higgins-Titsha for Three Seasons

Perth Wildcats have signed exciting forward Alex Higgins-Titsha for three seasons. The 201cm forward is known for his energy and motor, especially on the glass, ability to create opportunities for his teammates, as well as be an effective playmaker without the ball as an off-ball cutter. Higgins-Titsha heads to Perth after two seasons with the Cairns Taipans. His journey to the NBL wasn't a conventional one. Forgoing the college pathway, he continued to grind in NBL1 before being rewarded with a Development Player contract after impressing at an open trial. Higgins-Titsha made his NBL debut in October 2024, putting his name on the map with 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks in just five minutes. He quickly earned the opportunity that saw him become a key rotation player finishing the season with 18 games to his name including multiple starts. The forward didn't have as much luck in NBL26. After a strong start to the season averaging 6.2 points, including a career-high 16 point performance, a wrist injury saw it cut short after just nine games. Now recovered, Higgins-Titsha is averaging 16.7 points and 8.5 rebounds for the Bankstown Bruins in the NBL1 East, as well as representing Australia playing 3x3 basketball. Higgins-Titsha is excited at the opportunity to bring his craft to Perth. 'Being such a winning organisation and playing with Windler and Doolittle who've been huge and center like JLA. It's going to be awesome to play with guys like that and especially learn from guys like that.' Head Coach John Rillie is looking forward to the addition of Alex to the squad. 'Alex will provide depth and versatility to our front court.' COO and GM of Basketball, Danny Mills reiterated the excitement of being able to bring another young emerging talent into the program.
