Perth Wildcats have signed former Atlanta Hawks guard/forward Dylan Windler to bolster their roster. Windler signed a two-way contract with the Hawks towards the end of the 2023-2024 season and played with Atlanta in Summer League. He is a very good three-point shooter and an effective rebounder. Windler has appeared in 42 NBA G League contests, tallying 13.4 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 28.4 minutes. On Jan. 5, 2024, against the Delaware Blue Coats, the 27-year-old grabbed an NBA G League-record 33 rebounds, in addition to pouring in 23 points in 40 minutes of action. He became just the second player in NBA G League history to record 20-or-more points and 30-or-more rebounds in a single game, joining Angel Delgado. Windler played collegiately at Belmont from 2015-19, appearing in 128 games, averaging 13.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.0 steal in 29.4 minutes. As a senior, the 2018-19 OVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year led the Bruins to their first NCAA Tournament victory and first at-large bid in program history.
